About the album

Nothing spells Christmas like jazz tunes in vocal harmony. Dynamic's popular Christmas show now becomes THE Christmas Jazz Album of 2021. The album features two prominent guests, Ole Kock Hansen and Jens Søndergaard, adding their refined musicality to Dynamic's four strong vocalists and tight rhythm section. Dynamic, whose style is often associated with vocal groups like The Manhattan Transfer, has its very own sound with both Scandinavian clarity and the funky edge brought on by band leader and arranger Paul Kim from San Francisco. As always, the musical quality takes center stage, every note vibrates, every chord is part of the story. The beloved Christmas standards in English and Danish take on new life in irresistible arrangements and the album also presents a new Christmas tune written by Steen Francker, son of Otto Francker.
